5) Question 5: What are the differences and similarities between foreign language education and bilingual education?

In the world we meet the foreign language education and the bilingual education, many people have the idea it is the same, or one sitter than othe, but in this essay we will are talking about the similarities and differences of this two.
For meet the differences and similarities, we star meeting the fundaments of each one, inside the bilingual find the individual monolinguals and bilinguals. Bilinguals may form a distinct language group as a majority or a minority. Bilinguals and multilinguals within a country may be analyzed as a distinct group.
 Something interesting about bilingual is the dimension that Valdés and Figueroa (1994) suggest that bilinguals are classified by sixth dimension: 1. age 2. Ability 3 balance of two languages 4. Development 5. So, the main would be bilingual education is a teacher teaches in Two Languages, in the bilingual education, the non-native speakers or the learners have the same previous knowledge, and the teacher speaks both languages in classes. However, foreign languages, not matter where the student come from, the teacher only speak one language. Considering what keren Perles said the bilingual education brings emotional security because speaker listen in his own mother tongue. Also she said that the culture have a positive impact in foreign language class.
On other hand, the similarities between foreign language and bilingual education are great ways to learn a languages, this is a constructive way to learn the students can explore and research different topics and they are in constant learning. At both points if the students learn in group, they can interactive with different cultures and receive feedback.

For conclusion we catch that in bilingual education, bilingual person use their two languages and abilities to read, speak, listen and write, le. Over time and place, an individual’s two languages. And in foreign language the speaker use one language.
