When does a person reach a full understanding of a foreign language?

At present adult education beyond functional literacy is a fact since lifelong training has given it meaning.

lifewise following in a modern society the school system must educate and contribute to the democratization of information and will try to guarantee basic education to all citizens that responds to the needs of the group.

Medina rubio argued that when addressing the problem of the group under study in the relation to the educational process,there were a number of topics that tried to undermine their intellectual capacity,learning skills possibilities of assimilation,flexibility and change.

Today the belief that accentuates the idea that intelligence decreases dramatically with age has been largely overcome.

In the general in the learning in the foreign language the fundamental obstacles encountered by students derive from the teaching style and the didactic method.Despite the existence of great diversity the use of innovative or attractive methodologies to students is no frequent.

Among the best known methods for the development of the teaching - learning process a foreign language are the following.Grammar -translation or traditional method pay special attention to the instruction of grammar rules the explanations of the teaching staff are based on the mother tongue or the oficial language.

1. Direct methods relies on the direct connection of the foreign word with reality it represents promotes oral expression and vocabulary memorization.

2. Audio oral method prioritizes the use of spoken language oral expression and hearing from reproduction or repetition.

3. Audiovisual method is based on the use visual and auditory resources to develop the ability to listen and understand spoken language through interaction.

4. Communicative approach,enhances the learning on the languages from communication in the foreign language,although initially contaminating it with the vehicular language.

5. Project based learning privileges the uses of student centered strategies through active participation motivation development and group work.

For the presentation of activities and the presentation of contents in the teaching of the english language with young people and adults,teachers centered strategies are applied in a excessive way.

In this way the grammar translation or traditional method continues to spread,It is manifest the excessive dedication and effort of the teacher aimed at transmission of grammar rules and the retention of verbs a single words.

The teaching methodology relies heavily on the master explanations that,unconditionally use the dominant vehicular language to transmit them.learning is focused on memorization,through recitation or repetition of standardized word and sentences.cliche type.

Possibly it is conditioned by the type of pedagogical training that has been provided to teachers who due to its breadth hace not been asked about it in this study.

It should be noted that a specific teaching methodology for adult education its not used in order is concider in the uniqueness of young people and adults for example taking in the account their experiences and involvement in the type of activities carried out.

When it is very important that this student feels coresponsible for the development of their training process so it relevant to coincider their opinion and if possible their preferences collecting them in the design and the development of the work dynamics of the classroom in addition co - participation in decision making about their training would contribute to improve their cognitive ability and a stronger opinion about every day events and situations or increase their critical judgment in this line it is interesting to agree to the learning purposes with the collective since a guarantees a priory certain success.
